Mrs. Melissa Reynoso
Melissa is grateful and excited to be the TK teacher and connect with the Saint Clare Community this year. There is so much learning, movement, dancing, and joy to experience with the students that she is thrilled to be a part of.
Prior to Saint Clare, Melissa worked in the field of hospitality and was the Director of Operations at the Sheraton Hotel in Palo Alto. After twelve years there, and as a new mother of two, Melissa wanted to refocus her life and spend more time with her young family. Diving into this role, Melissa became President of Sant Clara Parents Nursery School for two years, and was part of the curriculum planning, teacher development, and structural organization of this parent-run preschool.
A catholic student from kindergarten through high school, Melissa valued the rich experiences she gained from attending Catholic schools. Melissa earned her B.A. in Political Science through University of California, Riverside. After deciding to become a substitute teacher this past year, the opportunity to take on the role as lead teacher in TK presented itself.
Outside of the classroom, Melissa enjoys floral arranging, reading, and spending time with her family. She is proud to be a part of the Saint Clare community.
