Mrs. Mafalda Soares

Mrs. Soares loves being a member of the Saint Clare School community. Prior to joining the Saint Clare team, she taught kindergarten. She earned an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice Administration from San Jose State University. She also has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Notre Dame de Namur.

After earning her MPA she spent a number of years working in the non-profit sector. During that time, she also tutored and mentored students. Mrs. Soares then attended Santa Clara University and earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Master of Arts in Teaching.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, fashion, films, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She is the proud mother of a little boy and finds joy in watching her students grow academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year.
