Mrs. Catherine Kogura is truly a lifelong learner. She earned her BA in Sociology, with an emphasis on Criminal Justice, from the University of California, Santa Barbara, moving on to earn a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law.

After practicing law in the private sector, she moved to the Office of the City Attorney for the City of San Jose where she supported the Department of Public Works. Mrs. Kogura also served as General Counsel for the Santa Clara County Open Space Authority, when that organization was in its infancy.

Despite years practicing law, the call to education was strong. She earned her teaching credential from National Hispanic University and her Certificate in Catholic School Leadership and Masters in Educational Leadership from Santa Clara University while teaching and serving as an administrator at Saint John Vianney Catholic School. Immediately prior to joining St. Clare School, Mrs. Kogura worked for the Department of Catholic Schools as one of three Directors of Instruction for the Drexel School System.

Mrs. Kogura is married with two children who are now wonderfully functioning adults. She is thrilled to be a part of the Saint Clare School Community.
